Review of John Power at The Angus
Having been without live music since 15th March, this was like going to my first ever gig all over again. Playing records is great but music is best served live, this show split into two halves showed off John's folk soul at it's best and was followed by a trip thru Casts greatest hits which had us all singing along and dancing in our seats. A great night I would recommend to all

Review of John Power at The Angus
It was fantastic to finally get to see some live music again, and John Power didn't disappoint! First half was folky solo material which was new to me - enjoyed it so much, I'll be buying his solo albumns when I have some spare cash. Second half was Cast material and that was equally great! Drinks were cheap (though a decaff tea option would be nice) and the social distancing measures were good - didn't feel at all unsafe. My only minor quibble is that there is only one ladies toilet, which meant having to queue in a very small space, but I guess there's only so much room for toilets - it's a small venue - and at least everyone was wearing masks.

First time at the venue. All Covid safe eg sanitiser table spacing gave covering etc
Great selection of drinks
Live music with John Power was brilliant. So good to see and hear live music albeit in a different type of world these days.
Well done to the staff who worked tirelessly all night taking orders etc
Can’t wait to go back

Review of Ian Prowse at The Angus (SECOND DATE)
Fabulous venue in town, really nice decor and vibe inside. Good range of drinks and very good table service.
Excellent gig from Ian Prowse, everyone really enjoyed it and was something very positive for us all given the current covid situation.
Highly recommended 👍
