Review of Chris Wood
Very good evening although rather late starting. According to the ticket it was supposed to start at 7.00, but apparently it was doors at 7.00, start time 7.30. It didn't actually get going till about 8.00! The venue is a beautiful building but could have been warmer in spite of the fact we were sitting near a radiator! Charlie McKeon's guitar playing was superb, and Chris's laid back performance was excellent, and love the patter!

Review of GRYPHON
Such a treat to see one of the most talented bands of all time. When they split in 1977 I thought my chance to see them live had gone. Fortunately Gryphon saw fit to reform a few years ago and produce, after 41 years, a new album.
With three of their original four members and the addition of 3 new personnel the new sextet works very well. As has been said before, watching Gryphon is like going to a rock concert with Henry VIII!
A huge thank you to all, especially the Liverpool Prog Rock Society, who made this special gig possible.

Review of GRYPHON
A very generous performance from gifted musicians. A good selection of music covering all of the bands back catalogue. A really enjoyable evening. Please don't leave it 44 years until you come on tour again.
