About

Another night of colourful music and experimental tunes - presented by the Lost in the Wood collective…

Kathy Halter 8pm

Kathy intertwines bittersweet melodies of hope and heartache over the timeless, enchanting sound of the music box, tenor guitar and omnichord alongside celestial three part vocal harmonies.

Influenced by her work providing intimate bedside songs and sounds in palliative settings, Kathy aims to create a comforting and nurturing space for her audience to navigate emotions of love and loss.

OORYA 9pm

OORYA is a conduit of heavenly messages; they channel poetry & anthems to embolden Queers & weirdos alike. Guest artist on BBC 6 Music’s Trunk Of Punk.

“An extraordinary way of creating music..unbelievable vocal control..OORYA is astounding” (The Manunion 24”)

“Words are insufficient to describe the artistic
might that is an OORYA performance – just go and experience it for yourself. You may just find yourself asking yourself, “Who Am I?” as you’re chanting “Who Are Ya!?” (RGM 23’)

Parabhen and the Oleanders 10pm

Parabhen & the Oleanders perform original music written by Parabhen Lad, the sound is coloured by her passion for early 1900s popular dance music, jazz and swing. The songs are joyful meditations on the themes of friendship, anxiety, empathy and the things that make us human. The Oleanders are made up of the fantastic Claire Jones (keys and vocal), Rosa Jones (clarinet and vocal) and Martin Smith (trumpet and good vibes) led by Parabhen Lad (double bass and vocals).
