About

Another night of colourful music and experimental tunes - presented by the Lost in the Wood collective...

Revival Room
Headlining the evening are Revival Room are : Adam Fairhall (hammond B3 organ) / Mark Hanslip (tenor saxophone) / Johnny Hunter (drums).

Featuring a selection of Manchester’s top improvisers, Revival Room headline the evening spinning vibrant new tunes with a distinct sound in this exciting study of the organ trio format.

"The idea was that we tried to explore the possibilities of an organ trio in improvisation, bringing in non-jazz vocabularies as well as referencing parts of the tradition.” (Adam Fairhall)

Beau Trio
Beau Trio’s unusual line up of Cello, Guitar and Flugelhorn blend to bring to life a repertoire of Brazilian Choro music, French folk songs and some original compositions. Vibrant, exotic and colourful !

The Salao Duo
The Salao Duo present an array of musical worlds: classical guitar blended with jazz drums, traditional Irish tunes, old time banjo and tender folk songs
