Review of Liverpool Burlesque Festival 2019
As being part of the burlesque community I really wanted this event to showcase everything incredible about the burlesque world but unfortunately I felt it fell flat. I understand that it was the first year of the festival so it may take a while to become grounded but the lack of information about the event, the poor seating situation and the staff not really understanding what VIP means.... I was vip and I still don't really understand, didn't help at all. This had so much potential to be incredible but not there yet. I was very disappointed if I'm honest and I don't think the evening justified the £30+ price tag per ticket. We left early midway through the 2nd half and that is the first time I have ever done that. Frustrated and disappointed.
