Transmission were excellent. The sound was fantastic and close your eyes and it could have been Joy Division. Really appreciate that they don't try and be JD but play the music with reverence. 229 remains my fave London venue. The stage looks like a big venue but it's airy and you can see from everywhere. Nice staff too.

Review of Devourment (USA) - UK Exclusive Show

The stage at 229 was higher than usual which allowed people at the back to be able to see.  The venue is comfortable and there is self service water available. ?'?

The support bands were high quality too - especially the second band.

Overpriced Pints - especially because the bartenders don't know how to pull a pint! No foam heads on a lager and badly pour Guinnesses .. should be the bare minimum at over £7 a pint

Great music, decent sized venue, standard London pricing.

The sound was phenomenal for Devourment! You could hear each instrument perfectly and clearly! 10/10 would go back to the venue and ofc see Devourment again
