FleetwoodMac were formed in 1967 by guitarist/singer Peter Green. Primarily a blues band in their early years, FleetwoodMac achieved UK top ten hit singles with 'Albatross', 'Oh Well' and 'The Green Manalishi (With The Two Prong Crown)'.Between 1967-1970, FleetwoodMacwere one of the best UK blues bands releasing the albums 'Peter Green'sFleetwoodMac' (1968), 'Mr. Wonderful' (1968). 'Then Play On' (1969), and 'English Rose' (1969).Alongside that FleetwoodMac were the backing group on Eddie Boyd's '7936 South Rhodes' album (1968) and 'The Biggest Thing Since Colossus' (1969) with Chicago pianist Otis Spann. An all-star 'BluesJam In Chicago' album came out in 1969 with FleetwoodMacperforming alongside Otis Spann, Willie Dixon, Shakey Horton, J.T. Brown, Buddy Guy, & Honeyboy Edwards.Man of the World will be celebrating TheBluesSideofFleetwoodMac along with the life and music of Peter Green, founder of the original FleetwoodMac. Guitarist Remi Harris will be joined by vocalist Dave Small, bassist Tom Mooreand Shane Dixon on drums to perform music from throughout Peter Green’s career.
