Self-titled "Northern Funk" collective Smoove & Turrell launch their 7th album 'Red Ellen' (Jalapeno Records) at The Forge, Camden.

Smoove & Turrell hail from Newcastle, England and were formed in 2009 by DJ/producer Smoove along with vocalist John Turrell and keyboardist Mike Porter.

After creating as buzz from their classic debut single 'I Can't Give You Up', Smoove & Turrell were signed by leading London independent record label Jalapeno Records where they released 'Antique Soul', the group's classic debut LP.

With regular plays on the Craig Charles Funk & Soul Show along with support from Jazz FM, BBC 6 Music, Sky TV and DJ's worldwide, Smoove & Turrell create Funk & Soul anthems that will ignite any dance floor.
