Review of Toobi Hip-Hop Fest
Very poor quality of sound , artists didn't look like they care apart from Liroy, plus you could feel that event had breaks in music all the time - Rubbish, amateurish- will never come to Toobi event again

Review of Toobi Hip-Hop Fest
Sorry to say but altough I bought 3 tickets 3 weeks ago and spent 99 pounds and was excited to go I did not even enter the venue as Ive seen what is going on even just before the entrance. Wanted to spend nice time with my girlfriend and mate but I could never enjoy my time with this kind of environment and people. Drinks, drugs amd violence. Sad to loose opportunity to be there but rather go to a pub than have problems with unfriendly people looking for trouble. I would sadly but definately not recommend it to anyone.
Review of Discovery 2 ft Billy Bibby & The Wry Smiles + Anna Pancaldi
Another great night at Discovery2 with the real coup of having Billy Bibby (ex-Catfish & the Battlement) & The Wry Smiles showing what a supreme songwriter he is. Other featured artists tonight Spark The Sail, pop-rock/alternative Bristol band + Anna Pancaldi who reached No 6 in Itunes singer songwriter chart for 2015. Her song 'A Little Bit of Love' featured in a Levi's campaign. There was a lot of interest for rising Band Keid. In truth not my cup of tea but to be fair others could see the potential so will be 'one to watch'.

Review of Discovery 2 presents Bakers Eddy, Matt Grocott, Desert Planes
A late lineup change after Matt Grocott dropped out brought in an excellent band from Oxford, Zurich previously unknown to me but as I noted followed by many of my Oxford contacts. The night got off to a great start with Lisa Marini and her version of Latin-Blues accompanied by two excellent musicians on double bass and violin. Adventures of were quite amusing and followed by Desert lanes for whom there is a lot of industry interest. Finally another great Discovery 2 night was topped off nicely with visitors from New Zealand, Bakers Eddy. For me the whole point of the night is to discover new music and I am never disappointed. Next show on 29 October.
