Review of London Jerk Fest
event was held in quite a small venue, nowhere near enough seating or space for people, there were more stalls advertised than that were actually there, seemed very commercial was expecting much more for a jerk festival

Review of London Jerk Fest
I purchased early bird lunch tickets for me and my 4 children as the event was billed as family friendly. But it really wasn’t. It was supposed to open an hour before we arrived, but when we turned up, it was still locked to the public and people were queueing. People planning to feed small children need to be able to get into venues at the advertised time. Once we got in, I was really disappointed that there was no live music at all. There was only one children’s activity (facepainting) and the food was expensive. There was nothing free at all even though we have paid for tickets. I was charged 1 pound per small cup of juice. My children’s lunch came to an exorbitant amount. I thought it was a rip-off. Avoid.

Review of London Jerk Fest
Being Advertised as a festival when actually it was just a few small food stalls in a small cobbled court yard was disappointing. The rooms inside were dingy and the rum punch was awful being served only at a spa**e lonely bar at the furthest bar inside the venue. No decoration or any effort to lift the depressing vibe in there. Drinks overpriced and paying for entry to this was ridiculous. Food was slow, which is typical for Carribean food but I waited for the best part of an hour to get food from my selected stall as there was an electrical fault/fuse. Not the vendors fault so not named. No clear agenda on what was happening on the day. Posters were on the walls but no description of what each thing really was. Considering it was sponsored by Grace, I was left annoyed that in an effort to support a black event which I think as a black person it is important to do, it showed why people don’t come back to such things. Advice is don’t cut corners. Spend the time to make the venue visually pleasing and make sure that you have enough power to supply the stalls relying on it as it impacts them and can cause them to lose customers.

Review of London Jerk Fest
I just felt that the ticket price for the event was a little steep considering you still had to buy food and drink. Would of been nice to have got a free rum punch on arrival. Entry fee of about £6-7 would of been more reasonable. Venue needs to have a better seating areas for eating in my opinion there weren't enough. With that said, I still had a great time and the food was delicious.

Review of London Jerk Fest
It was OK. I felt devalued with the music and dinner tickets. Why charge so much when half of the availability would be gone? I arrived at 8pm, Some food had been sold out, the venue was dirty, plates and uneaten food left all over tables, Grace were packing up and told me there were no more goodie bags. However the food I did eat was very nice, but expensive, £3 for plantain &£3 for coleslaw, £7:50 for chicken and rice without these sides. Extortionate and ridiculous. Music was very good. I’m not likely to come back unless the evening tickets are greatly reduced as I can get music, food atmosphere, clean tables elsewhere and spend less money.

Review of London Jerk Fest
It was a good family day out but the food was pricey and most wasn’t all that in taste, only food stall that stands out was the jerk fish(salmon) , others were over price with no taste....

Review of London Jerk Fest
The venue was not what we were expecting, we thought it would be in a open park, with a the different stall etc We paid to get in and the food and drinks were a bit pricey. It should've been free entry and then pay for food and drinks.
