Review of London Jerk Fest
Really disappointing event with a real lack of variety of choices for an authentic jerk meal. I eventually chose a jerk pork meal which was sadly lacking in any pepper heat and had been been culturally appropriated for the European customer. I definitely will not being returning or recommending.

The event had a lovely atomosphere. Wheelchair access was difficult at times.
The food was lovely and authentic. The bar staff where not experienced and seemed confused at times. The c**ktail bar was a joke only offering rum punch that was not properly made and too expensive. All in all we had a nice time but more thought in preparing mini events would have made it truly enjoyable. Hopefully the next event in September will be better thought out.

Review of London Jerk Fest
The first FARCE was on entry. The security split up couples saying that men had to he screened and as the screening equipment was not set up, the men had to wait but the women could go in as they didn't have to be screened (Do they not realise that a womans great big hand bag could better conceil a knife or gun than a blokes track suit picket?) Luckily the adorable ladyvwrsring the flowing gown thing and matching tan boots had some sense and overruled the idiotic goings on at the entry point. The quality of the food was mostly very good. The prices were clearly ridiculous though. £2 for a small half filled plastic cup of non alcoholic "fruit punch" that was nothing more than fruit squash and water was quite wrong from all perspectives.
The music was absolutely s**te.
The music selection sounded like someone had brought a stack of REGGAE HITS COMPILATION POP MUSIC CD's and just played random tracks with no rhyme nor reason and absolutely NO continuity. The person playing the music clearly knows very little about reggae (which is the music that accompanies Jerk Food.)
The saving grace (if there were any regarding the music) was the 60's rock steady and early reggae tracks that a few of us older people could recognise.
As a consequence of the mostly awful music selection the atmosphere was dead and most everyone sat through the whole thing (if they were lucky enough to get a seat,) the amount of tickets sold clearly superseded the required seating requirement being that it was not on grass; where people at least have sat and rested their legs and let the kids run around.)
I'm available for further comment.

Review of London Jerk Fest
Brilliant music, fantastic food and atmosphere, could do with some more seating and drinks were far too expensive. It was difficult to leave the venue and come back in as someone from our party needed to get cash out from the bank and it was a struggle to do this and be able to get back in. Vegan food and options were spot on! Event would be better on a Saturday night rather than a Sunday but We will definitely come again

Review of London Jerk Fest
The location was easy to get to, the atmosphere was fine, everyone seem to be happy and polite . It was not wheelchair accessible .
It would’ve really helped to have a compere or someone directing you to where things were happening . It was just too easy to have paid to come to an event page for food and missed all of the events that were happening for free .

I expected more from the event. the venue was small, not enough stalls. Food was average and Graces sample food was uninspiring. Vienna sausages in a roll and a patty does not inspire someone to buy their products. I would not be attending anymore of these events.
