LONDONERS ARE LOOKING A ZILLION DOLLARS AS Gü x Bridget Jones: Mad About the Boy LAUNCHES UK’S FIRST COMPLIMENTING BILLBOARD THIS GALENTINE’S DAY

This Galentine’s Day, love is in the air - and it’s coming straight from Gü! To celebrate the release of the highly anticipated Bridget Jones: Mad about the Boy in cinemas from 13th February, Gü is bringing an uplifting experience to the heart of London.
From 11th February, Gü will unveil the UK’s first complimenting billboard, just steps away from Bridget’s iconic Borough Market flat. The interactive activation will serve up positivity and charm , alongside visitors being able to enjoy full sized products from Gü’s range of best-sellers.
Bringing to life the charming spirit of Mark Darcy, Bridget’s ultimate Mr. Nice Guy, visitors approaching the mirrored billboard, will be greeted with tailor-made, heartfelt compliments. Inspired by beloved characters from the franchise, including the renowned Daniel Cleaver (Hugh Grant), new love interests Roxster (Leo Woodall) and Mr Wallaker (Chiwetel Ejiofor) and best friends Shazzer (Sally Phillips) and Jude (Shirley Henderson).
To sweeten the installation even more, visitors can enjoy full sized samples of Gü’s irresistible Zillionaire Cheesecake - a decadent treat made with treacle cheesecake, buttery salted caramel draped over a rich cacao biscuit base. Samples will be available daily between 11am-2pm and 4pm-7pm*.
This feel good experience comes as a recent survey conducted by indulgent dessert brand, Gü, revealed that more than three quarters (83%) of those surveyed said a heartfelt compliment makes them feel valued. The installation aims to amplify self love and connection in the most delicious way possible, and all for free.
The recent survey found that Brits favour modest but genuine praise over fake flattery, so for visitors who attend the pop-up on launch day (Tuesday 11th February), you may even get the chance to receive your own unique compliment in-person. Whether you’re “looking like a zillion dollars”, or “if positivity were a competition, you’d win gold everytime”, you’ll be able to experience how a genuine compliment can brighten your day.
Whether passers by are with their besties or enjoying some solo time, the Gü experience at Borough Yards is open daily from Tuesday 11th February - Saturday 15th February, 11am - 7pm.
