About

Have you been performing for a while or are you a newly formed act and would like some guidance on how to increase your chances of getting noticed by bookers?

Join us for an evening with 2 industry experts, Max Golfar (Boomtown Music Programmer) and Quentin Bromley (Head of Music at Hootananny Brixton) who are both also experienced artists.

Together they will explore:

  • What venues and festivals are looking for in an Artist

  • Artist assets and what makes a good EPK

  • How to make the best impressions on social media and the importance and relevance of social media

  • How to write an email to a promoter - do’s and dont’s / examples of what good and bad emails look like

  • How to work out your artist fees

  • A brief introduction to Meta Ads Manager for Artists

  • Working relationship etiquette

When he isn’t working on festivals, he is regularly promoting shows across the UK. He formerly was Head of Music at Hootananny Brixton. He’s also an artist himself, performing and producing under the alias Fizzy Gillespie, under which he has performed at nearly every major festival in the UK.
