Opened in 2011 in a massive former factory on Kingsland Road, Beyond Retro’s Dalston location brings historically significant fashion to a building steeped in local history. Once a Daks suiting factory in the late 1920s, it later served as a Cuban cigar factory in the 2002 James Bond film Die Another Day. The vaulted ceilings and enormous open floor plan set the stage for our most theatrical space yet, complete with electric guitar-adorned fitting rooms and props that create a visual cabinet of curiosities, sourced during team travels around the globe. A fastidiously curated product offering and spacious floor plan contribute to a relaxed ambiance, evoking the feel of a vintage department store.
