Led by singerHilary Mwelwa, this superb band has performed at festivals all over the world, sharing stages with a host of iconic stars, including James Brown and D’Angelo. Born in Zambia and raised on a musical diet of Aretha Franklin, Stevie Wonder, and Marvin Gaye.

Mwelwa possesses what the Boston Globe described as ‘a beguiling voice with a whiff of Whitney here and a scoop of Chaka there.’ With a string of critically acclaimed albums under their belt, their sophisticated sound is an intoxicating mix of smooth soul and R&B that blurs the lines between Lauryn Hill and Sade.
