This summer Brick Lane Block Party is back, for its biggest edition yet. After the closure of Werkhaus last year (RIP -emoji-), whilst we know the last couple have been just as fun, they just haven’t scratched that dance-itch. So, we're back to it!!! Adding not one, but two new venues. Jazz-focused Music Venue and Bar 91 Living Room joins our lineup, along with multi-genre events space Juju’s to feed those needing a warehouse rave fix until the early hours.
In 1001, we welcome globetrotting DJ Marcia Carr, who leaves no genre unturned, and they’ll be joined by rising star A For Alpha, whose wicked 90s house sets gives the OGs a run for their money. Tying the lineup together nicely, in our hi-fi loft space, is our resident party starter, Blue Ringed Baby.
London collective Off The Cuff will be taking over our boozer Brick Lane Tap Room delivering pub bangers for smooth pint sinking, and heading up the Sleazy Disco we’ve got a full-on drag disco courtesy of queer dance party heads Sue Veneers where we'll also be serving up free slices of pizza. Over in 91, DREA are pulling up from Spain for an exclusive set (check out their Boileroom for an idea of what they’ll be bringing on the night), and they’ll be joined by GEE LEE with Kojay b2b P-Lucas solidifying a banging bill. The 91 courtyard will also be transformed into its own unique space, with entertainment, drinks and food served all night.
And now for the big one, as we transform Jujus into a warehouse venue with a huge soundsystem for two massive names adding some serious weight to our stacked lineup. Soon, we'll be announcing a very secret and very special guest; think Toytonics vibes, truly one for the heads. They’ll be joined by one of our fave selectors Tim Garcia, who has been spreading the musical love far and wide, introducing his fans to a whole new wave of UK music.
We’re truly hyped for this one, our biggest and most exciting party to date, with a lot of debuts across all the venues. Limited early birds are on sale for a few days now via RA, Dice, Skiddle, Fatsoma, and DMN. Cop yours now, & we’ll see you in the dance x
