Oktoberfest was a fantastic event with two great live bands that brought lots of energy, singing, and a wonderful festive atmosphere. However, our day took a sharp turn for the worse due to the behavior of the security staff. My husband, who is 57 years old and has a medical condition requiring frequent use of toilet facilities, politely asked three times to access the restroom before leaving the premises. Despite explaining his situation, two security guards refused his request and even resorted to physically restraining him when he tried to explain again that he needed to use the toilet.

When my husband shook off the 2 security guards, they escalated the situation by calling in more security until 7 security men had him pinned to the ground in an extremely violent manner. This could have been easily avoided by simply allowing him to use the facilities. Our friends, who witnessed this, approached to discuss the matter and expressed their concerns but they were met with rude, offensive responses from several security guards. They belittled our concerns, used inappropriate language, and made us feel extremely threatened.

The security company, Rock*t Security, behaved in an unprofessional and intimidating manner. I sincerely hope that the organisers of Oktoberfest will reconsider their choice of security provider in the future to ensure that attendees are treated with respect and not subjected to unnecessary aggression.

Fantastic event, fantastic organisation. Plenty of toilets, long bar woth easy fast service, plenty of space between tables, band was excellent, host was great too
