Hip Hop superstar Fat Joe is set to celebrate a 32 year career and a soon to drop new album with his first ever headline UK show with rap legends The Lox and the announcement of a one-off show at Copper Box Arena in Stratford, London on Wednesday 23rd October.
Fat Joe is an icon, pioneer and legend in rap, an award winning, multi-platinum artist, author, TV personality, entrepreneur and actor. With an acclaimed 32 year career, Joe entered the scene in 1992 as part of Diggin’ In The Crates crew, then debuted as a solo artist with album ‘Represent’ the following year. He has cemented his legacy as a hip-hop heavyweight, with 10 multiplatinum albums, plus mixtapes, singles and collaborations, including global hits ‘Lean Back’ with Terror Squad, ‘What’s Luv’ featuring Ja Rule and Ashanti, ‘Make It Rain’ featuring Lil Wayne and ‘All The Way Up’. Puerto Rican-Cuban Fat Joe pioneered the sound that combined hip hop and Latin music, while also discovering new talent by signing DJ Khaled, Big Pun, Remy Ma and Cuban Link to his Terror Squad label. Most recently, Joe reinvented himself as a media personality, hosting The Fat Joe Show, Fat Joe Talks, the BET Hip-Hop
Awards 2022 and 2033, plus episodes of The Drew Barrymore Show and The Wendy Williams Show. In 2022, Joe released his memoir ‘The Book Of Jose’, telling of the trials, tribulations and triumphs throughout his personal life and professional career. With acting roles, most notably starring alongside Kevin Hart and Tiffany Haddish in ‘Night School’ as well as in Spike Lee’s ‘She’s Gotta Have It’ Netflix series.
Fat Joe is set drop his 11 th studio album this summer ahead of his London show, which will be absolutely unmissable for his legions of fans.
Comprised of Sheek Louch, Styles P, and Jadakiss, The LOX entered the scene in 1997, after Mary J. Blige passed on their mixtape to P Diddy. The single ‘It’s All About The Benjamins’ garnered global attention and debut album ‘Money, Power & Respect’ (1998) went platinum and gold album ‘We Are The Streets’ followed suit. Each Lox member has had individual successes with critically acclaimed solo albums, businesses and tours and in 2014, ‘The Trinity EP’ saw sold out shows across the US, Canada and the UK. In 2016, in partnership with Roc Nation, The LOX released ‘Filthy America… It’s Beautiful’. In 2020 came fourth studio album ‘Living Off Xperience’ and in 2021, The LOX made history with The Diplomats, aka Dipset in one of the most legendary VERZUZ of all time. Following the smash show at Indigo
O2 in May last year, The Lox come fully loaded with big tunes ready to drop again in London, from ‘Ryde Or Die B****’, ‘All For The Love’, ‘Money, Power & Respect’ to ‘Recognize’.
