Review of Copthall Playing Fields
51st state Festival 5th Aug 2023
So disappointing. Essentially my experience of the festival was ruined by a bunch of selfish, self-important idiots, who decided they did not want to queue, so lifted up the metal barriers, and created a rush and a stampede.
This was not stopped by any of the security staff, because at first, they were unaware, due to understaffing, and then were slow to respond.
This led to no one being searched for weapons, and crush on the gate.
So many people, like myself had queued patiently from 4pm – 6pm only to almost get crushed and ultimately be turned away.
I have been to several festivals this year and not experience such a level of mismanagement by security. The selfish idiots won out. Given what happened in Brixton, more security was needed at all sections of the queue to monitor and police the queue jumpers. By the time the Police arrived all control was lost.

Review of 51st Festival 2023
The event was well organised and planned out but it felt a bit lacking. No Dancehall tent or drum n base. They really need to sort out the speakers too, as you could barely hear the lyrics, let alone the base and beats. It was a fun day though, spent with friends.

Review of T Live Festival
There were not enough VIP toilets for how many VIP patrons there were. The queue for them was insane and they werenât even clean. There was no queue for regular toilets! The queue at the VIP bar was also way longer than the regular bar! You couldnât hear the main stage properly from the VIP viewing platform either as you could hear the music from the music tent in the VIP area and it interfered. However, did love that you could have a free massage and free glitter on your face in the VIP area. The sound didnât always carry well from the main stage - the vocals and the mic were great but the backing sound wasnât always done right. Overall, it was a pretty decent event but expected a bit more for the price.
