BLACK DOG: London Dog-Friendly Premiere + Q&A with Cast

BLACK DOG, winner of the Un Certain Regard Prize and Grand Jury Prize at Palm Dog Award at Cannes 2024 opens in the UK and Irish cinemas on August 30 (distributed by Trinity CineAsia).

SYNOPSIS: On the edge of the Gobi Desert in Northwest China, Lang returns to his hometown after being released from jail. While working for the local stray dog patrol team, clearing the town before the 2008 Olympic Games, he strikes up an unlikely connection with a black dog. These two lonely souls now embark on a new journey together.

Screen 2 Dog-friendly Screening House Rules:

- Only well-behaved dogs are allowed to attend.
- Dogs are not allowed on the seats. Please keep your furry friends on the floor or, for small dogs only, on your lap.
- Owners are encouraged to bring their own blankets and toys.
- Dogs are welcome in the bar and café of the cinema for an hour before & after the screening.
- Owners are required to clean up after their own dogs if they create a mess, with cleaning products provided.
