The Great Depression, commencing in 1929, ravaged not just the USA and Europe, but the entire globe. Humanity found survival by exploiting the highly intelligent Newts. Eventually, the thriving human race became dependent on them. Yet, the Newts initiated a significant retaliation. How do we navigate this? Various nations’ desires collided. What path should the world have taken in this turbulent era?
Originally published in 1936, this work is newly revived as a warning for our times.
