TAKE1 COMMUNITY- A note from Jake, co-owner of take1.

take1 presents: House Sessions is our 10th party together and I couldn't think of a better way for us going into the double digits than an evening full of house music to celebrate Tom (or Wiggles as some of you may know him as) and his 26th birthday!

Around a year and a half ago, after a heavy night out at Printworks, Tom and I had a conversation about throwing our own night there. This shared, delusional dream led to the idea of creating something of our own. Of course we knew Printworks was unobtainable, so we started small, but a few months later, we had our name, our brand, our logo, and most importantly - a date for our debut event. take1 was born. 

Since the beginning of, we've thrown 9 events in a variety of genres and had an absolute blast booking incredible DJs, inviting our friends to perform and hearing endless support and great feedback. 

So on behalf of Tom and myself, thank you to everyone who continues to party with us, continues to buy our tickets & continues to choose to support an independent events company in arguably one of the most competitive cities in the world to do this in.

We are forever grateful, and will continuously be working on making our events bigger and better every time, and expanding this beautiful community.

For take1 presents: House Sessions we return to Dream Bag Jaguar Shoes for our second event, and it's FREE! Come from 8pm till 1:30am to catch Tom and his selected lineup of artists perform all things house!
