We are very pleased to announce on Saturday 28th December 2024…A special guest! Live on stage will be Prince Malachi with full band alongside The Mighty Aba Shanti-I sound System (Resident).
Prince Malachi, an influential, innovative singer and songwriter, musician and producer.
From ground roots sound system mic man to live music musician, he is now known for his songs of Rastafari, reflection, equal rights, justice and liberation.
From his critically acclaimed self produced debut album Jah Light, with songs distinguished by messages of solidarity and social awareness, to seminal albums for Fatis Burrell of Exterminator Records, Ras Records, Stingray and Blakamix Productions, to his last album Third Rock on his own Ten Mile Media label, he has never disappointed. With singles for Beres Hammond’s Harmony House label, Falasha Recordings, Maximum Sounds and many others, his voice and style are now instantly recognisable to his legion of worldwide listeners.
His story telling, intense style of songwriting has been described as emotive, thought provoking and powerful. Credits, collaborations and shows include Sizzla, Morgan Heritage, Earl Chinna Smith, Lauren Hill, Dean Fraser, Horace Andy, Earl 16, Virgin Records, Sony Records and more. Now preparing to release his 7th long awaited studio album, the global reggae community eagerly await the next chapter of this celebrated artistes career.
