Really good event. Amazing number of artists / studios. All styles were represented which made it great for finding your next artist. The added benefit of the fairground rides was brilliant if, like me, you had kids with you. Been my favourite one so far.

Amazing venue and enjoyed the whole experience. Got some great ideas and contacts to get my next tattoo done. Atmosphere was great and lots to do and see. Loved that some took the whole family which gave it the extra friendly twist

I recently had the pleasure of attending a tattoo contest, and overall, it was an amazing event. The atmosphere was lively, the talent on display was impressive, and it was great to see so many skilled artists showcasing their work.
However, I did have some concerns when it came to the competition portion of the event. One issue that stood out was the judging process. It felt like the judges barely analyzed the competitors' work. With so much incredible artistry on display, I expected a more thorough evaluation of each piece. Giving more attention to detail would have made the competition feel fairer and more transparent.
Another aspect that I found a bit strange was that some artists presented pre-finished tattoos, competing directly against those who worked tirelessly over both days to complete their tattoos live. It seemed unfair to group both types of work together, as the artists tattooing during the event invested more time and effort. Splitting these categories would have provided a more level playing field for everyone involved.

All in all, it was a fantastic event, but refining the competition process could make future contests even better!

Great big place lots to see good trade market. £23 for 2 drinks is steep! But a good vibe.
