Review of LONDON ACID CITY - 30 YEARS OF STAYING UP FOREVER
I was only there for the exhibition, not the clubnight. Absolutely brilliant, shame it wasn't on for longer, but £5.50 for a small can of cider is taking the micky, especially regarding what this scene is about. It was posh club prices, not squat party prices. They should have negotiated a better deal for the bar, to make it more authentic. Also, what's with needing to show ID for an art exhibition? How ridiculous is that (I'm in my 50s and look it by the way). I don't drive so my only ID is my passport and I'm sure as hell not bringing my passport with me everywhere I go. Fortunately they let me through after arguing how ridiculous it was because it wasn't a club night, so to be asked for ID is beyond ridiculous. It's not enforced by the council because plenty of other venues in Newham don't do this. And it's not a club event! And furthermore, completely against the squat party ethos.

Review of fold x suf : stay up forever 30th anniversary
Outstanding night. Venue and facilities superb. Someone in our party had a bit of a funny turn during the night and welfare in the club were absolutely first class. They treated the person with compassion, dignity and respect, and were very kind. If only all clubs were like this .
10 / 10 all round...thank you Fold and SUF for a banging night x

Been to fold a few times,but this was a special night,excellent music,all night long,great crowd,with the extra rooms,finding unexpected areas,found the staff to be friendly and professional,particularly security,who were doing a good job,making sure everyone was ok,I do like this place,be back soon ❤️
