Review of Wax Format: Fabric London Takeover
At the age of 52, my first London Nightclub visit was a bit daunting. I'd been to Wax Format in Leeds Warehouse before, so I knew what to expect. The lineup was phenomenal. I saw Signum at Leeds, so was especially looking forward to seeing him again, and Lange, I've seen a few times, and never disappoints. I was particularly looking forward to Airwave and Marko V, but they were on simultaneously. But the layout of the club meant a 30 second dash between all 3 rooms meant I could sample both.
The drinks prices weren't bad at all. £5.50 for a small can of cider, I was driving there and back from Sheffield, so went o to C**e. That was £2 a can, but plenty of ice in a glass made it very worth it.
The toilets were all unisex cubicles, clean, tidy, nice.
All the staff, of which there were plenty, I interacted with were all friendly and helpful.
All in all an absolutely brilliant club, event and atmosphere.

Review of Kool FM Super Sunday Carnival Special
Weren’t allowed to use your phone in the venue. The staff put stickers over the lenses of everyone’s phones and I heard other people saying that the staff were too frisky with their search as entering the venue. The system in the main room was turnt down at 2:30-3:00am and they were charging £6 for the small tins of Heineken. Fabric seems run down these days !!!
