Review of Rolling On The River

It was promoted as a Reggae and Soul event but played more Soul. I was disappointed with that. The boat only had one bar, it needed two. The food supplied was overpriced too. One guest that I saw found hair in his food.

Second time and would love to come back every year. You can always recognise some familiar faces and everybody is always friendly and so welcoming. The atmosphere is fantastic every time, music is great and you just wish that the night never ends :)

Enjoyed the summer boat party overall. However for me my experience was not enhanced at all by the live drummer. His presence was not warranted by many and the fact that he was worse the wear from alcohol did not help.....The live PA was entertaining but again not required for this sort of event. Enjoyed the music but maybe a bit less Organ House & more classic soul bangers next time.
