Review of United Colours of Jungle
Drinks was tasting like dirty water and sour. I asked from cranberry and Wray. Bartenders where trying to scam thinking I’m drunk. Over charged me twice. When telling random prices. Overall I left annoyed and didn’t enjoy myself.

Review of Sex Circus - As One Easter Festival
Aiden Tyler & Markov Chain gave v. energetic performances, & stole the show. SC was v. busy as usual, and it is the only venue holding sex shows. So if it closed, there would be nothing else in London. So I certainly recommend the event, and it is NOT A TIRED CONCEPT, as another reviewer has written. If he does not like it, he can go elsewhere.
Having written this, the stars I awarded above are low, because management needs to wake up to
basic shortcomings:
1. The stage had no lighting, You had to watch a show in the dark, apart from revolving red lights. What a waste. Whoever heard of a stage with no lighting ? The lighting technician who installs the lights has no clue & should be dismissed. Nearly all the audience had their camera phones out, & the red lights caused blotches of fluorescence on the footage. So it is unwatchable. If those present sent clips to their friends, it is free advertising to get new customers. But not if it is all in the dark with blotches. What is so annoying is that there was clear white stage lighting last October. So why throw money down the drain to dismantle it, & install revolving coloured lights? By contrast, management had directed that one play room should have clear white light, & it was successful. No uglies in there.
2. One performer kept his shorts on in all peformances. So why pay his airfare from Madrid, and hotel? There is plenty of local talent, eg. Billy Essex, Paddy, Dan Johnson, have you asked them ?
3. A cattle stockade had been erected around the stage. This was never there before, & it is not needed now. There was an additional line of fences around the cattle stockade. Was this to stop women throwing themselves on the stage ? Apart from 3 women who were there just to see the shows, nearly all the handful of women there were trannies/trans. Anyone with any common sense would realise they would never jump on the stage.
4. There was heavy security around the stage. The guards had the name of a security company on their jackets, & I was concerned that their Muslim/Caribbean culture is against the aims of the venue, though of course I could not ask them their views. They were also unfriendly. Do not ask them anything, because they do not know. However, when the shows were coming on, they got messages in their earpieces, so someone was in charge of the place, telling them when shows were coming on.
5. There are 2 giant screens in the garden area, so why did this same person directlng the event, not type in the times that the shows were on ? It would have taken him 2 minutes. If you buy a cinema ticket, you need to know the times the films start, so as not to miss anything. You can go to SC and miss all the shows, because you are not in the right place at the right time.
6. If SC wants to save money, I advise abolishing the gogos. The number of shows could be extended by having the porn performers coming on in couples, eg Aiden Tyler & Markov Chain alone, etc etc rather than in only two big groups. So if there are 6 performers, then have three couple shows, and two big group shows. And why have a warm-up show ? As they are all porn performers, the first or warm-up show could be all nude. Thereby prolonging the whole event.
7. Around 4am. the music in the main floor was atrocious. Maybe that is why nearly all the audience moved out elsewhere. The DJ had recorded an African American woman shouting out countless aggressive commands in a repetitive fashion, and then Mickey Mouse and Donald Duck voices shouting out repetitive commands. No rhythm nor tune. Just repetition, like a schizophrenic hearing repetitive voices. in his head That DJ has no clue about music. Please do not invite him back.
All in all, the event was a huge success, as the owner is bound to see from the takings. But I could see in one second that the takings are not profit, since a lot of money is being thrown away in unnecessary costs, eg. obtrusive security, and food & drink kiosk staff just sitting with no customers. I wondered whether they were self-employed, or paid a salary. If the latter, the club made a loss on them. Rival venues are famous for never giving the names of DJs, & SC could save money by having pre-recorded tapes of music that actually does not give people a splitting headache. No clubbers were dancing around 4 am. Instead, lots of people with their coats leaving, and missing the last show, because it was on too late. There were no droves of late customers coming in at 4am, in fact, NOBODY, so why have the show on so late ? No clue about marketing on the part of management. Maybe no late arrivals because it was a Thursday night, and if future SC will be on a Saturday, then there will be a late cashflow. But as women will be admitted every Saturday after midnight, there is still no reason not to have the last show on no later than 3 am.

Review of Sex Circus - As One Easter Festival
NO WOMEN !!!!!!!!!
It is totally wrong and shocking that women are allowed in to this event . Everyone was talking about it but saying the same thing that no one will say as it's not Woke . This is a gay male space . Please help us keep our all male spaces . This is not about inclusion it's about protecting the little we have . The decision to open the event to Women was wrong and you need to reverse this quickly if you want to keep Gay Men attending .
Totally ruined the atmosphere to have fully dressed women in coats and bags and straight couples in club and whilst not in Playspaces was still outrageous that Gay Men are not allowed their own privacy .
Bad bad move
