Review of MadMen 54 ! New Years Eve
not as advertised. went for a boy party and the straight club next door kept coming thought. the club was half 40+ women. there was no atmosphere. there was no count down, they set of the confetti early and everyone was confused. the gogo dancers were beautiful but hidden behind the set, saw them better when they were having a fag. guests were lost and kept asking each other were the playroom was, there was none. fire is a staple of the gay night life so they know how to do it right. im not intested in anyomre events by this venue or this organiser. it was lazy, overpriced and left us guests feeling like we were just a part of money maling scam

Review of BEYOND 54 ! New Year After Hours
They oversold tickets and the venue was so packed that there were multiple jams and a high possibility of stampede or being crushed. I was against the wall with my face squashed because there were so many people. I had to leave because it was dangerous. I want a refund—terrible experience.

This event had the potential to be awesome. It's a good venue, the DJ was outstanding and the people are great. The problem is that the organizers have no idea how to organise a coatcheck system. I spent about an hour and a half waiting to either put my coat in and take my coat out. Almost longer than the time I spent there. it's a good reminder that the best parties at New Year's Eve are the ones you organise yourselves with friends. It wouldn't go back to MadMen 54 at New Year.

Good music and a friendly crowd. Quick service at the bars.
Coat check queue was abysmal - at least 30 mins to drop my coat off and more than 45 minutes to pick it back up. The queue stretched the entire length of the club and into the next room.
The toilet queue was also over 30 minutes long.

More promised then delivered. dissapointing midnight show, rip off prices, overwhelming cues (45min to grab a coat on a way out) went out of organisers hands, clogged toilets...

Awful. Just awful.
Venue :2023 and can't even manage to get a decent
toilet? Really? How about investing in some good sound and proper lighting? Video led screens for a single gif looping the entire night?
Music: 2023 and I am forced to dance a YMCA remix on the "main" dancefloor, are you f serious?
Prices: 14 pounds for a diluted "Smirnoff" vodka and redbull. This should be illegal.
Oh btw, I pay 44 pounds the admission ticket.
I should've called the police to be honest.

I don't question the music or the people that attended the event at all. My big problem was that we paid 30 pounds to spend the night in a overcrowded venue where it was impossible to walk to the toilet, let alone dance. Definitely a lot more people than the ones the venue is allowed to welcome. It felt very unsafe at time, especially in the little corridor connecting the two different rooms. I could see someone getting crushed or someone feeling unwell for the lack of air in the crowd (or for other reasons) and no one noticing. In case of emergency someone would die trying to get to the emergency exits. Not good guys, not good at all
