Open for: Live music, comedy, DJs, open-mic, quizzes & all sorts **** LAUNCHING 28th OCTOBER 2011 **** Well hello Hackney! How nice it is to be at the service of your entertainment needs. As with all venues in the Picturehouse world, we wouldn’t be complete without spicing ourselves up a little. We obviously love film, but like most of you, we also like a bit of everything else too. This is why we’re creating this new top floor haven; a retreat for those in-need a bit of recreational activity, in true diverse London style. For those of you familiar with our sister site The Ritzy in Brixton, and the Upstairs at the Ritzy venue, you’ll have an idea of the wide variety of bands, DJs, Comedy & other events we book… if not, then have we got some pleasant surprises for you… We have big plans and very good contacts and we’re not afraid to use them. We’ll be bringing you live bands and music from every genre and every corner of the globe possible, we’ll be hosting workshops; “London’s best” film quiz, short films, spoken-word and open-mic to keep your imagination satisfied. Please do get in touch if you're in a band, or you're a very funny comedian person, or your just a local who wants to say hello, or join the mailing list - we're quite friendly here really.
