Manish brings Zaki to The Horse and Groom for a special evening of jazz funk, boogie and deep soulful house, an evening not to be missed, see you on the dance floor!

With an international DJ career spanning over two decades Manish’s sound is recognisable as representing the authentic sounds across a range of genres. Collecting select vinyl cuts from boogie to jazz through to hip hop and house he has built his reputation on a soul connection with his audiences across the globe. With a distinctive deep groove sound that is uniquely his own Manish is sure to ensure the good times are here for everyone that joins him whenever he plays…

Zaki

Zaki Lais grew up in East London where he still resides.  Zaki has developed over three decades of experience in the London underground dance scene.  

A founding figure of early 90s pirate stations Risk and Flava FM, Zaki was also instrumental in pioneering the deep house sound across London’s airwaves with seminal dance station Touch FM. 

Having played across a diverse range of London’s most respected venues including The End, Cherry Jam, Pacha, The Egg, The Cross, Notting Hill Arts Club, and AKA.  

Zaki launched MUAK (People Together) in 2003 in East London as one of the area's first house music events brands. It has come to be recognised as part of the fabric of London’s dance community and still runs to this present day at various venues and warehouses in London. Alongside the Muak events, Zaki runs Muak Music, the record label where you can hear the music he produces with the friends he has met on his journey.

Zaki' has released Music on Solomun's Diynamic Music record label and Coyu's Suara Label.
