Lascelle pioneered the “rare groove” sound at the Wag club and beyond with Barrie Sharpe, opened for A Certain Ratio, joined a precursor to acid jazzers the Brand New Heavies, was a member of Campag Velocet and entered the realms of electronic music with 7 Hurtz.
Immerse yourself in the rich tapestry of sounds as they spin a captivating blend of neo soul, soulful house, disco, funk, jazz funk, boogie, and Afro beats. Come, dance, and embrace the power of music to connect souls and uplift spirits
Every weekend the Friday late night sessions will be free entry for our summer season at the original disco pub the Horse and Groom with a great selection of residents, party crews and guest DJs bringing back the original party vibes music wise with selections disco, funk, soul, house, 90s grooves and beyond with the emphasis on great selections without the full-on rave!
