Join us for a special Wednesday night at Jamboree with London-based singer songwriter and guitarist Chas Leman launching his new single!
With a proud working class musical lineage that stretches back to the Vaudevillian days of the Victorian music halls, Lemen's own brand of part punk, part balladeer, part Crooner, part baroque pop Psychedelian is married with his trademark captivating storytelling, all told through a unique Londonese lens.
In support, playing short solo sets, are Alan Charles, Andy Palmer and Jaz Delorean!
Jaz Delorean is a livewire performer with songs full of tender observations of our fragile and sometimes twisted existence. He'll pull at your heartstrings, and get you dancing to the rhythms of his fingers, before skulking off into the blackness behind the neon carnival lights. He is also is the lead singer and pianist from tearaway live band Tankus the Henge.
After fronting South London alt/indie band Bellevue Days, Alan Charles has now embarked on a self-produced solo project, which blends modern pop influences with roots Americana.
Andy J. Palmer is a singer-songwriter inspired by the timeless melodies of The Beatles and the lyrical kitchen-sink realism of Ray Davies, crafting songs on his upright honky-tonk piano or his treasured hummingbird acoustic guitar which sound like dreamy, scruffy lo-fi postcards from the past.
Also, our ‘Arepatoire’ kitchen is open from 6pm serving a delicious mix of Italian/Colombian food for you to enjoy a pre-gig meal/snack if you wish!
