The Shazzams + Naked Yoga at Jamboree

A Friday night of blues, garage, country, punk, psychedelia, funk, soundtrack-inspired fusion and more at Jamboree!

Headliners The Shazzams are an American/French band in Paris. They play 'garage-rock blues-psych-surf-Americana' music that melds together all of their Franco-Anglo-American influences, concocting a remedy for backbeat nostalgia. Justin Houser leads with songwriting, vocals and guitar, summoning blues, garage, country and punk that veers into psychedelia, with hints of Howling Wolf, The Violent Femmes, Nick Cave and The Gun club, to name of few. Rounding out the band are guitarist Raphael Dumas, who traded his mandolin for a Fender Jag that prowls through the songs; the debonair Stephen Harrison thumping and walking on bass, and the fierce, polyrhythmic Jeremy Lainé on drums. After releasing their debut album 'Fighting Trousers' The Shazzams have been playing non-stop around France, Germany, Belgium, and the UK for the past 3 years. They are currently finishing off their 2nd album whilst continue to play their kinetic, high energy rock'n'roll throughout Europe.

In support we have the ace Naked Yoga ,a borderless power trio for electric souls. Naked Yoga recently released their debut album, Triangle; 10 tracks of original (mostly) compositions spanning their cosmic combination of rock, jazz, funk, electronic and soundtrack-inspired fusion. Their performances range from progressive explorations to disco grooves that get people bouncing. Yoga mats not required!

Jamboree food option: Our ‘Arepatoire’ kitchen is open from 6pm serving a delicious mix of Italian/Colombian food for you to enjoy a pre-gig meal/snack if you wish!
