The sister bar to Escape in Soho and Kudos in Charing Cross, Kazbar is undoubtedly the best gay bar south of the river.
Spread over two floors the bar is stylish if somewhat small. Like Escape it is known for having VJ's instead of DJ's and with a late license the music gets clubbier as the hours draw on.
Amazingly for the gay scene, which does like to divide itself into categories, the bar seems to appeal to gay men and women of all ages and types.
The small bar is has excellent, quick staff and good prices.
In summer the front window opens and there is outside seating, though most people just spill out into the nearby street.
The bar also hosts a very popular street party every year so those planning a trip over should check the dates and, if you're in town, get your asses down there.
