I always love a Chuckie Event & I'll always be there but I just wish that those who didn't make the effort were turned away because it brings down the atmosphere when people just turn up in their tracksuits etc. Needs to be more firm dress codes & clarity. I don't want to come in heels when people look like they're dressed to go food shopping ?'?🏽 but overall 10/10 night, would recommend & the venue is beautiful. Please sort out the temperature when the crowd reaches capacity as it felt like a sauna.

If I could give this 0 stars I would. Due to my feet hurting in heels and I stumbled a little bit I got accused of being drunk and was refused entry. Very poor attitude from security and was told I wouldn't get a refund. It baffles me that I got accused of being drunk yet I'm sure there was drunk people already in the venue. Ridiculous!, I'm looking to take this further as I want my money back and was accused wrongfully.

As the event was advertised as a masquerade event/ball I expected majority to be wearing masks. I was incorrect.
music was good but felt no different to normal monthly residency

Great venue. Good sound in auditorium, and fantastic bar areas. Sound quality was really good too. would definitely recommend this venue. The band (Lock-In) are really great as well.

Real shame as the venue itself is very nice. Security we're ok with us, but it seems others had bad experiences. Some saying (not confirmed) security had an issue with it being a gay night.

Our issues were with bar staff being very slow, being given warm drinks no ice, & then closing bar at 3am (full 3hrs before closing time)

Venue suddenly closed early for water mains issue which is unavoidable. But the way it was handled was dangerous.

There's many reviews online about our night & club opening about half hour late due to previous event running over. If this was a one off, ok. But going through many reviews of Lafayette, it seems to be a trend as does issue with the bar staff.

Lucky enough, Love Muscle crowd was as awesome & as happy as ever. Which meant it didn't spoil enjoyment of the clubs night. But if anything, Lafayette, take notice of your customers reviews & consistent issues.
