The Shivas are a rock & roll band from Portland, Oregon that began in 2006. Since forming theband as high-school best friends, they have brought their raucous dance party to almost all 50 United States, and over 25 countries around the world.

Meanwhile they have released 8 full-length albums, plus many EPs and singles on an array of labels including Tender Loving Empire, Suicide Squeeze, and K Records. The Shivas latest release - ‘Alive In The World’ - is a full-length, live album from the 2022 European tour of the same name.

The live record was recorded every night during the course of a nearly 2 month run - and favorite performances were then selected, creating an album tracklist from an archive of more than 50 hours of live material. ‘Alive In The World’ features 13 tracks from 10 different cities, and was released October 20, 2023 on Tender Loving Empire Records.
