Review of Psychobilly Freakout 2023
Just did the Friday, but excellent festival & quality bands. Great venue (apart from Mens bog - stank rotten) and great crown and atmosphere. Will definitely be attending again next year.

Review of New Cross Inn
Saw Boston's finest R&B band .
Barrence Whitfield and the Savages last Wednesday 3rd May. There was two support acts, the main band came on at 9.30 . Straight into a thumping song "Wolf Pack" which gave the singer a chance to use his lungs for what was to come. The pace picked with "Bip Bop Bip" and the packed crowd was on board and lots of dancing taking place. "Bloody Mary" a classic from the band raised the roof a little higher as the singers amazing voice really got to work. Their versatility was shown in the soulful ballad" I'm sad about it". Then it was rocking through a set with the rhythm section pumping out a togetherness that comes of playing together for a while. A slower tune about an old boxer Willie Mehan from an era gone by , then backup a pace with "just moved in" and on until the last number "walkin' " the crowd who had a legend amongst their ranks a certain Chris Farlowe was left screaming for more, unfortunately time was the enemy and the show had to end. A great gig very personable band who signed autographs and had pictures taken by old and new fans. This is what it's all about. Great night all round.

Review of The Outlaw Orchestra plus Special Guests
The lads from the Deep South (Coast) did it again. Fantastic musicianship, great banter. Fantastic show. Ably backed up by Helen Hurd and the Mavericks and the incredible Jack J Hutchins. Great night
