Review of Family Fun Day - Music & Food Festival

My son and I went on Saturday. It was listed as starting at 12.00-9.00. We arrived at 3.40 to find that it was just being set up. Very little people had turned up. There were more security guards and police than the attendees. I was not aware that it was only going to be the sound systems on the Saturday (which didn't start til 5.30) and that the main show was really on Sunday. I felt as though there were not enough stalls to occupy the 5.5 hours before the music actually started.

However, the food was very good and the facilities were adequate. On the whole I was very disappointed as I paid £30 per ticket and didn't think it was worth it!

This was my second time in Norbury Park family fun day, and I always enjoy myself. The friends that I take with me enjoyed it too. Well done to the organisers and sponsors of the very important foundation.

Lack of professionalism. Mixed messages. People not allowed to bring food and drink and had it taken away which is really disrespectful - so no consideration for dietary needs and disabled people. Please let's remember Caribbean people cook with various spices and ingredients that not everyone is allowed in their diet. They didn't care at all and just dismissed concerns with "there's nothing I can do".

The package was worth the money. If I can cretick the band on their performance with Everton Blender and Bushman. I am not a bands man but surely, if I am going to perform with big artists, I would do my homework with the songs that I would be required to play. I'm sorry, but the band should of played a much better performance with the artists and keep the music tight and play with more energy.
Big up the DJS for the righteous energy and kept it clean. Big up the younger generation who helped to make the stage show wonderful with the Jamaican theme and their performance also Big up ourselves, the people who was having a fantastic time.
