Agenda
We will begin in the historic neighbourhood of Lambeth, which was once home to the influential Howard family.
From there, we will make our way to Westminster and admire a beautiful stained glass window that was commissioned to celebrate Catherine of Aragon's wedding to Henry VIII (please note: this is only available on weekdays). As we continue our journey, we will also stop outside Westminster Abbey and Our Lady's Chapel. Have you ever wondered why only two Tudor queens were coronated at this iconic abbey?
Next, we will walk down Whitehall, exploring more fascinating stories about the queens and uncovering the remains of the Palace of Whitehall.
No walking tour about the Tudor queens would be complete without a stroll down the Strand, home of the musical "Six" but also to the nobility with strong ties to some of the queens.
Our tour will end at the Strand, where we'll reveal the lost home of the person behind the Tudor dynasty and introduce to the original and fiercest Tudor Queen!
* Please note that this event does not include admission to Lambeth Palace or Westminster Abbey.
