Requiem for a Sense of Agencyis a dance performance on a portable treadmill delving into themes of hyper-individuality, futility and power of influence.

As the title suggests, the performance serves as a requiem - a funeral mass – honouring and grieving an individual's concept of agency. Using structural and musical elements of a catholic mass, the piece portrays the performer's journey as they come to terms with the fundamental impact that their environment has on them, allowing them to move forward towards a more interconnected, community-oriented way of thinking.
