In the Round: Artists Sharing Work-in-Progress

About

This event is perfect for those who love diving into the creative process, exploring ideas at their rawest, and exchanging immediate, constructive peer feedback in a supportive environment.

Together, we’ll explore the vulnerabilities of creation, delving into the questions, concepts, and inspirations that shape artistic works before they reach completion. Expect a variety of mediums, perspectives, and styles as our artists share their projects.

This is a great opportunity to see how art comes to life and to support local talent. Don't miss out on this intimate and insightful experience!

Featuring:

Taïr: A multidisciplinary artist working across ceramics, industrial design, and new media, Taïr’s practice examines the intersection of craft and production systems. With a background in industrial design and a passion for research, activism, and material culture, Taïr creates objects that connect contemporary production processes with history and human narratives. Their work blends creativity, composition, and storytelling, exploring new technologies to push the boundaries of visual and tactile experiences.

Rosina: A fine artist whose work transforms knitting into grotesque, alien-like forms inspired by fungal networks, parasitic creatures, and internal organs. Rosina’s creations evoke tactile sensations while challenging traditional associations of knitting with comfort and nurture. Influenced by science fiction films and themes of metamorphosis, her work bridges the playful and the unsettling. Rosina’s exhibitions include Violent Bodies (Femanifesto, London), Soft Tissue (Squishy Collective, London), and The Playful Turn (Espacio Gallery, London). She has also led experimental knitting workshops, such as Creature Dis-comforts (Whitechapel Gallery’s Nocturnal Creatures) and Feminist Knitting (Greenbelt Festival).

Capacity is limited, so please book only if you’re sure to attend!
