The POW is back… having closed on New Years Eve for what we thought was the final time, we are delighted to announce that POW Brixton is reopening this July.
It's 12 years since we first brought together Carnival legends Mr Norman Jay MBE and Sancho Panza at POW Brixton. It's been an annual staple for us ever since, and one of our very favourite parties of each summer.
Norman will once again play an extended Good Times set on the hallowed rooftop at POW as the sun goes down.
As the Carnival godfather, Norman Jay MBE and his Good Times Sound System has entertained and educated revelers since the 1980's, bringing new soul, hip hop and house music to the masses. The founder and master of funk and soul brings has been bringing his irrepressible Good Times vibe to his favourite Brixton rooftop for more than 12 years.
Sancho Panza have been creating glorious gatherings for 30 years - from warehouse and boat parties via a legendary 20 year stage at Notting Hill Carnival through to their current Campo Sancho festival, they continue to spread Joy. Residents Matt Brown & Jimmy K-Tel join us once again to spin both rooftop and club sets.
