Norman Jay MBE..Up On The Roof - Back at POW Brixton

The POW is back… having closed on New Years Eve for what we thought was the final time, we are delighted to announce that POW Brixton is reopening this July. And what better way for the first Up On The Roof back at the venue, than for the man that started and finished the first phase of UOTR, Mr Norman Jay MBE, to head up our first party back.

He will once again play an extended Good Times set on the hallowed rooftop at POW as the sun goes down.

As the Carnival godfather, Norman Jay MBE and his Good Times Sound System has entertained and educated revelers since the 1980's, bringing new soul, hip hop and house music to the masses. The founder and master of funk and soul brings has been bringing his irrepressible Good Times vibe to his favourite Brixton rooftop for more than 12 years. 

Acclaimed DJs, pioneering promoters, long running radio presenters, record producers and business partners in the iconic Groove Odyssey brand, Bobby & Steve have reached legendary status in the soulful house and disco scene.
