What a time!

Review of Summer Sessions with Felix Da Housecat

Based on new material the sessions was vibrant but with a lot of rhythm gags. Felix left way to early and ho ever plaid after him, finally gave us the holdies. The Venue basement (where the event took place), resembles a 1980's "boite". Although I enjoyed the upper standard of the place, which resembles how we would get dressed for dancing in the 1910's in Lisbon.

Music volume too low, music was great but at that volume it was annoying. I could hear the conversations nearby me. Nobody was having fun around there.

I was joined by some colleagues who decided to frequent McQueens venue on Friday 28th July 2017. Upon doing so we were greeted by some excellent rhythmic accompaniment by a certain Mr Felix Da Housecat. The venue itself was well presented and clean and excellently staffed. Refreshments were on the dear side however given the decor, the extortionate prices had less of an impact. One thing to hastily add, on the main dance floor, when drinks were inevitably spilt, the floor became very unstable i.e. the boogie space became a slip and slide.

One of the best parties I've attended in London! Super DJs both upstairs and downstairs, headliner Erik Hagleton on top of his game, packed rooms with superb ambience, excellent organisation by Take, my friends and me had a fantastic time!
