Review of London Jerk Festival 2019 (2) - Sponsored by Grace Foods

It was a lovely day out with great food music and the atmosphere was electric. Definitely worth going the vendors were all at the top of their game. The entertainment was first class. I now see why the tickets sell out so fast. Luckily I signed up for early bird tickets otherwise I would have had no chance. Loved it. See you guys next year.

The event on the whole was a pleasant surprise, entertainment, interviews and discussions were good and quite positive.  The atmosphere of the day was very friendly and people attending were like minded in sharing and appreciating the cultures of the Caribbean.
A great variety of food stalls but some were quite pricey, I thought it was a missed opportunity for the food stall holders to promote their products and business that would encourage people to seek them out after the event.
More seating areas for people to actually sit and eat their food would have been quite useful.

Grace foods let themselves down by not giving out free merchandising i.e. food products or memorabilia.

I arrived early (2pm) but did not feel like eating until after 6pm by then the stalls I had in mind to eat from had sold out of their main dishes and was left with just chicken wings which did not appeal to me.

The main sound system in the main area was fantastic and captured the mood of the people and the event fantastically (big up to Calvin Francis DJ).

I did enjoy my time here and would gladly attend the next event.  

Entry prices considered we had to pay for everything .  If you do have to charge  a fee no more than £5 
 Some of my family and friends  pay up to £20 for there ticket. 

Attended the london jerk festival at Grow in Hackney wick on 1st September 3019. I was pleasantly surprised how well organised the event was compared to the event in Spital fields in June (the venue there was too small).  Grow however was the perfect venue . It didn't feel cramp,  It was a nice layout , the facilities were clean and well maintained , enough seating inside should you need it. Would have been nice to have more seating and tables near and around the food stalls . One criticism was the entry fees were too high considering it was just to enter and it would cost a further £20-£30 to take advantage of the food and drinks on offer at both the bars and the food stalls. Should be a flat fee of £10 making it affordable for most people and families wanting a day out regardless of their age . 

Fantastic friendly atmosphere would definitely be going next time 

Had an amazing time, great food fantastic venue will be there next year 

Great vibes, good food, nice venue to hangout with friends and family
