But, on rare occasions, this space is opened up for public use and provides a spectacular venue for special events.
For the next Bascule Chamber event, composer and curator Iain Chambers returns to fill the atmospheric subterranean Victorian space in Tower Bridge with a brand-new programme of works in September 2018 as part of the Totally Thames Festival.
