Review of Bach and Vivaldi Double Violin Concertos by Candlelight

We booked band B seats and were shocked at how poor our view was. Our seats were never advertised as restricted view, and we couldn't see around 90% of the performance. Somehow Band C seats seemed to have a better view and had we known this, we would have purchased Band C tickets. The musicians were wonderful however for the price we paid, I would have expected more than the kind of experience I would have had listening to the same music over speakers at home.

Review of Valentines Vivaldi by Candlelight

So many positives as evidenced, but it was very disappointing that no programme was distributed; even a very basic flyer would have been a bonus showing the name of the group of musicians and their individual names, together with the titles and composers of the music. I had to ask one of the performers for their group name at the end so that I could hopefully discover them online.

The actual musical performance was wonderful, with each musician displaying awesome talent. The lead violinist was especially skilful, vivacious and expressive.
