Joining them on this night is Irini Arabatzi, a multi-instrumentalist, songwriter, producer and performer.
Born in Thessaloniki, Greece, she began her music journey while growing up in Brussels.
Inspired by the Greek records of her parents she began to absorb traditional folk sounds but also to discover jazz and improvisation during 12 years of piano classes. Music remained a vital ingredient of her life when she returned to Greece, attending the Athenaeum Conservatory. After performing all around the country and with some of its most famous artists, she moved to Scotland to continue her education and met with artists like Corto.Alto, Scottish National Jazz Orchestra and Fergus McCreadie.
Hendrix & Max is an intimate soulful folk duo forged through the friendship of Hendrix Harris and Max Dindinaud.
