Review of Orange Is The New Black - Theme Night

I can't begin to describe my disappointment with this night. The facebook event page listed many cool things like "goodybags for the first 50 people through the door" and "photobooth" and failed to deliver on all counts. The man on the door clearly didnt give a sh*t when i asked about the goodybags, the only effort the venue had made was showing some episodes on tv screens around the bar, which they soon abandoned halfway through the night, the photoboot was a terrible poster very crudely duct taped to a door which was to a stockroom or something so staff were constantly in and out of it making it poorly positioned as well as shabby looking. I feel like I totally wasted my time getting dressed up for this event and it was a poor choice for my birthday evening. I will not be returning to any of their other nights and will make sure people I know dont waste their time either.

The staff were cool but it seemed the only thing the venue had done to try and make it feel like a themed night was playing episodes on a screen (which stopped half way through). The best thing about the night was getting a kebab on the way home.

The main issue with this event was how they advertised certain things- like the Crazy Eyes goodie bag for the first 50 people- this wasn't a thing. The mug shot photo booth was a height chart stuck on a door staff needed to use. There was no costume contest.

Cheap Tickets, everyone made an effort to dress up but false information. Where was the 'mega mug shot photo booth?' Where was the 'crazy eye goodie bags?' They were just a badge. Little OITNB surprises? None were given. the orange with Russian drink?

Don't make the event seem amazing when you get there and it is not.

Good atmosphere, fancy dress competition was fun. But would have much preferred a "pub-quiz" style quiz though.

The so-called quiz involved about 10 insanely easy questions and the group on the table next to us shouted through both screenings between openly doing lines of c**e in the toilets. Staff took zero control of situation and we left early.

Review of 90s Karaoke - Boxing Day Special

The event was good but the venue was over priced in regards to the drinks. And they've been heavily watered down also.
Music was great and the games were really good. Karaoke was loads of fun also.
